I’ve mentioned earlier that the owner if this S15 wanted a Vmount set up for the coolers , but one of the problems with it is that most of the times the water cooler is extremely exposed to the damage from hitting any obstacle like tire or something relatively small, and we always try to build our cars that they would be resistant to small contacts that can happen pretty often while drifting in pears…So I wanted radiator to be as deep in the engine bay as possible so we also wanted the biggest radiator we could squeeze in there, and the charge cooler was already decided before hand so I had a pretty tight aria to work with :), and so I decided to redo the cross member that partially holds tension rod brackets and connects both chassis rails together, I needed it to be lower and...

Another small story on rear dampers.
After measuring everything it was time for cutting…
And fabricate these inserts … it’s a good think now we can do it in-house
And here’s the whole thing
Now weld it together
Had to run 3 beads to make sure the weld is as strong as it can be.
Then , after making sure everything is...
Well again it’s been a while, we had the big holydays and had to move to another facility but here I’m back with a few pictures and some thoughts about what and why has been done…
So the picture here is of the rear sub frame, you can notice it has been rizen up as much as possible (about 15 mm) to further correct roll center, also in the corner of the picture you’ll see I’ve strengthened the pick up point for the upper front arm because it looks to me it’s the weakest area of the part
Here’s another pic of the same just here the lower A arm rear pick up point is visible- it has been moved up to lessen suspensions natural anti squat ability , cause I want that weight transfer to...
Well it’s been a while since we have updated this Project but it has become my full time job (almost) things started moving quit rapidly. So for today there’s a few pictures off the front suspension.
here you can notice that the inserts for steering traction rods has been made longer than they usually are , its simply because we wanted them longer witch equals wider track, better roll resistance with softer springs and „anti roll bar“ its set 30mm wider per side, we, actually , are not hitting any chassis rails on full lock with the 17x10 sized wheels...

Mounting for the racing fuel tank in the trunk almost done:
